Teacher and Senior Summer Plans for 2022

As the school year nears its end, Pleasant Valley High School seniors are formulating their summer plans. During this time many students will also be preparing for college. Here are some plans of seniors and teachers for the summer of 2022:

  • Nola McCafferty will be attending University of California, Berkeley in the fall. To cover housing costs, she intends to work. While not working, Nola will be preparing for marching band and hanging out with friends. 
  • Rida Rheman will be attending California State University, Chico in the fall to study computer science. She will hang out with friends and make as many memories as possible this summer with loved ones.
  • Ryan Daugherty will be attending University of California, Davis in the fall. During the summer, Ryan will work as much as possible in order to finance his college experience and make some extra cash.
Abigail Blair
  • Abigail Blair will be attending California Polytechnic State University (SLO) to study agricultural and bioresource engineering. This summer, Abigail will be working as a lifeguard to support her college education and make some extra money.
  • Omoefe Odiase will be attending California State University, Sonoma in the fall to study biological sciences. She will spend her summer with friends and family, making as many memories as possible before college begins.
  • James Fong will be attending California Polytechnic State University (SLO) in the fall. During the summer, he plans to visit his mother in Taiwan. While not on this excursion, James will be working at Rice Bowl to pay for his education.
  • Ethan Troung will be attending University of California, San Diego in the fall. This summer, he plans to take college classes to complete general education requirements early and learn about topics that interest him.
  • Aiden King plans to move to San Luis Obispo for the next few years. His summer plans include working and planning his move to the area.
  • Mr. Vought plans to spend as much time in nature as possible. He plans to fly fish, hike, bike, and visit the coast this summer.
  • Mr. Paddock plans to relax and enjoy his time off, as does most of the graduating class as well as the rest of the PVHS teachers. Many students will be working to support their education goals or plans to move out, and most will be focusing on spending time with loved ones.
