First-year tennis player, junior Kalani Sterling remarked how the new tennis court “it’s really nice, it’s nicer than most of the ones we’ve been to so far…this one’s definitely the nicest one I’ve seen.” However, tennis courts are not the only courts Sterling uses. Sterling is also involved with other sports at PV, Sterling said “I play volleyball, club volleyball, but I do tennis for PV.” Sterling wanted to try tennis because “It seemed like something that could take up some time, and was pretty easy to pick up.” Sterling added, “I really like it, I hope to continue playing, it’s really fun.” She “wants to try to” play tennis again next year. After high school, Sterling wants to “attend a 4-year university, or something, nothing that’s tennis related. Oregon University is a school I want to go to, I think.”
