Book Review: My Little Monster
My Little Monster is a 13 volume romance-drama manga series about a high school girl named Shizuku who only cares about studying and her grades. One day she’s tasked to deliver class work to a boy named Haru who is infamous for being a troublemaker. Haru immediately falls in love with Shizuku but she is constantly annoyed by his behavior and antics.
People should read this manga because there’s a lot of drama, romance, and friendship in it. It’s fun to read. The relationship between Shizuku and Haru is developed throughout the first 12 volumes (the 13th is a special/bonus volume). We meet a lot more characters throughout the series and people could learn a lot from the story like healthy relationship and friendship skills, how to be a good partner and that it’s okay to take a break from school work.
All 13 volumes can be purchased at Barnes & Noble or Amazon, there is also an anime series which can be watched on Crunchyroll.
