A freshman at Pleasant Valley High School, Mia Ellen hopes to share her voice throughout her first year in the Saga school newspaper. Whether interviewing students, covering school and community events, or writing opinion pieces on student life, Mia aims to highlight voices and aspects of our campus culture that often go unheard. Outside of the Saga, Mia is passionate about playing softball and takes pride in her love for journalism. With a talent for storytelling and a devotion to connecting with others, Mia can’t wait to tell real stories that matter to her peers—maybe even influencing them along the way.
