A sophomore at Pleasant Valley High School, Lahtika takes pride in calling herself editor-in-chief of the Saga school newspaper. A lover of journalism, literature, and trying new things, she joined the Saga her freshman year in an effort to learn more about her school, build new connections, and step out of her comfort zone. In the future, she aims to attend Stanford University and to eventually enter the medical field—today, she is involved in several extracurriculars that can help her reach that ambitious goal. She hopes to help the Saga flourish this year, and looks forward to sharing her articles with her beloved community.
