Senior Gabe Ponce has been playing football since he was 9 for the Chico Jags and now he plays football for the Pleasant Valley Vikings. Gabe is the outside linebacker on the team. When asked his opinion on how the team was doing this year Gabe replied, “We came out with a slow start but now that we have figured out how much potential we have as a team we will be great.” Before Gabe graduates, he really wants to help the team in winning a state championship this year. Being a part of the Pleasant Valley football team has led to him making new friends and even becoming a part of a family with his teammates.
